This powder-blue section will contain E-mail information regarding the most recent ones sent,
so that you know that you should have received it,
but if you did not, you know where to start to find it!
Keep in mind that upgrades to your personal security-software may be blocking the GoogleGroup email.

9/1/21, links to registration/application.
Recently, we sent out the links to the Google Sheets and Google Docs, both of which contain the dynamic job-postings. These static links do not change with each new posting, only the content of the file.
With only one more meeting this year, I thank everyone who has supported the Buckeye Santas through the pandemic and beyond! Your continuing prayers are requested for Stacia Cohaghan. Updates are posted on our Facebook page as we receive them, and let us remember ALL who have needs for our thoughts, prayers, and acts of kindness.
Membership registration opened on September 1. You should have received notification and the link to the Google Registration Form in your email as well. To date we have received 51 applications, so we are half way to getting all our members from last year registered. We have added a few NEW Santas and look forward to meeting them whenever they are able to attend in person!
Our final membership meeting for 2021 is scheduled for October 9, 2021, at 11am in person, INSIDE at Lutheran Reformation Church, 1355 South Hamilton Rd Columbus. Click for map If you have never been there, enter the driveway from South Hamilton, not the back entry (some GPS units steer you to the entrance at the driveway off the back street, gate usually locked).
Doors usually open at 10:30AM for fellowship, but might be opened earlier since this is also the annual Santa Photo Day and changing areas for full Suit changes may be available.
We will also be remembering, with a brief memorial service, all of our Santas that have taken their Last Sleigh Ride.
It also sounds like our election process will be very brief with a Vote By Affirmation of the new officers.
The Zoom link will be published before the meeting so stay tuned!
A nice lunch is being provided for us all by the Lutheran Reformation Church families! We need to provide them (By the 29th of September) with the number of participants who will be eating so they can prepare a proper amount of food.
Photography information will also be arriving in your E-mail inbox with ZOOM link. May every day still be like Christmas! After all, with family and friends, Christmas never ends!

We are exploring a major change for our website as a means of making it more meaningful, attractive to prospective Santas, and less expensive to maintain. Santa Dave Addis has agreed to take on the positions of Webmaster, Secretary and Jobs Coordinator. While Bryan and I have been trying to simplify the work-flow of all three positions through the addition and use of Google documents, those changes have seemingly been well received for the most part.
A couple of years ago, (it seems like forever!) Santa Ricky Woerner did a presentation on THE RED LETTER regarding being prepared for the inevitable transition to our next life. For all our newer members, and for our 'not so new' members, I am providing the link to Santa Tim Connaghan's refresher entitled "The Final Sleigh Ride" which is a great review now, rather than later, for you and your family.
HELP WANTED! WAGONS HO HO HO

It seems that my email in-box is constantly inundated with notices/messages from the nationally recognized SANTA Organizations as they promote their own Big Business approach to being the best at EVERYTHING! Perhaps you have a similar reaction? I would love to add a section to our webpage with our reader's thoughts and wisdoms regarding YOUR Santa-ness! Anyone want to weigh-in on the Psychology of Santa? Since I have heard NOTHING from anyone regarding this effort, I will leave it for the new Webmaster to ponder.
1.) Santa RJ and Doreen donated a large Christmas tree, added lights and a few decorations and a Santa tree skirt to use at our meetings. It is on a platform that rolls out of the store room! Doreen gave out about 120 or more clear glass ornaments for people to decorate and bring to add to our tree decorations.
Or, you may bring an ornament of your own choosing!
2.) In order to minimize the possibilities that your email server might send
our important messages to your junk mail folder, we are now using a GoogleGroup address.
3.) Just below, our Family Group as gathered on Photo Day 2019.

4.) Here's a nice 'JeffHillVideo' production, courtesy of our own Buckeye Santa, John Miller,
and the Southwestern Ohio Symphonic Band's "Santa's Reindeer Team" Click Here
...the audio is a bit difficult, but worth the listen!

6.) Looking for some intriguing Santa-related stories? Our own Santa Pat Lense writes a weekly blog
and invites us all to stop by his website to experience 'what a website SHOULD be!' Click ME
