October 28th Meeting Location: Harvest Assembly of God
Address: 8075 Dellinger Rd. Galloway, Oh. 43119 Click for MAP
It is our final meeting of 2017. We can start arriving as early as 11AM. The meeting will start at noon. This will allow for early changes into Santa suits. As soon as Santa Ron gets camera setup complete we can begin taking photos. Afterwards, he can do the group shots. Be sure to bring your Santa Suits, Costumes with you. There will be a place for everyone to change. We will get individual and group photos at the meeting.
We are still working on the menu, but you will pay when you go through the line. The charge will be $12.00 per person. We will have a donation can set up for the Church, instead of tips, so please remember to put your donation in the can or cans.
Please bring a show and tell item with you. Also, we will have our Reindeer Exchange at this meeting. Meaning, if you want to participate please bring an item not valued more than $15.00. If you are a couple and you both want to participate, then bring two items with you. You have to bring an item to be able to choose an item from the table.
Also, we will be voting on a new Vice President and Secretary at this meeting. You must be present to vote. The new officers will take office in January 2018. Please remember that your 2018 dues, background checks and membership applications are all due by the first meeting in January.
As always, if you have any questions please feel free to contact me.
The Buckeye Santas have decided to contribute money to
two charitable groups and causes this 2017 Season.
The first is to: The Transient Veterans
A Non Profit Group who help support the Veterans in need at The Dayton VA Hospital. They supply a Christmas and New Year's Meal for the Vets every year. They help supply their personal needs by donating clothing, shoes, toiletries, dental products, blankets, and they have been able to help them for the last 12 years. Every penny they receive goes to the Veterans, no money is used for any other reason. The Founders along with family members and friends donate their time by volunteering. This is our second year we have been able to help the Veterans in Dayton.
The second donation was given to Santa Mike Waggoner to purchase new toys for families who were devastated by the storms that hit Florida. Santa Mike will see to it that they are shipped and received by the right organization to be given to those families in need.
All the best - Santa Tim Leasure - President 2017
